Battling and Overcoming Drug Addiction According to the Bible

Drug addiction in America has become an unnatural epidemic that affects the mind, and attacks the spirit like a vamp iritic-host.

According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse – “Most drugs affect the brain's "reward circuit" by flooding it with the chemical messenger dopamine. This reward system controls the body's ability to feel pleasure and motivates a person to repeat behaviors needed to thrive, such as eating and spending time with loved ones. This overstimulation of the reward circuit causes the intensely pleasurable "high" that can lead people to take a drug again and again.” Faith is a very powerful thing, but faith alone cannot battle the addition.

Proverbs; 29:1 “He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.”

Not only does drug abuse destroy the mind, it also destroys the very fabric of the “reward circuit” – which controls every thought process we as humans depend – to function in a rational manner.

Proverbs; 29:2 “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.” These words speak of prophecy, as the world today has become infiltrated with drugs – it has placed a burden on innocent souls – corrupted by a system ruled by unrelenting hypocrisy.

Proverbs; 29:23 “A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.” We as a nation must uphold a higher standard of living – where the process of eradicating drugs from our society must become our main mission.

But, unfortunately, man has become corrupted with the profit of drug-making, and our nation of many people is losing the battle-war on drugs. Only those people who seek a higher spiritual order can learn to release themselves from the bondage of drug addiction.

Psalms; 5:1 “Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation.”

Despite being aware of these harmful outcomes, many people who use drugs continue to take them, which is the nature of addiction.”  A NIH notation – about  the ills of drug addiction.

Psalms; 5:5 “The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.”

Each and every person will be judged for what they do, and these drug dealers – however they classify their faction – contribute to the ongoing drug dilemma in America.

Psalms; 12:1 “Help, LORD; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.”

To, people who suffer with drug addition, please be acknowledged – that there are many opportunities available to end a drug addicted situation. Prayer, support groups, and family/church support are true accessible options; only diligent will power – can facilitate first steps – walking the road to live a drug-free life.

Born of Yesterday Born of Today

Born of freedom we be of nationalities; the Africans, the Jewish, the unjustifiably named American-Indians, the Aztec Indians, the Spanish-Americans, the Civil War African-Americans, the Indian people of India, the improvised Chinese peoples, and too many other nationalities neglected by the history of prejudice.

Born of freedom we be – great peoples of the world, born of yesteryear, born into the unthinkable circumstance of ignorant darkness. The great spirit of humanity has always been the beacon of light that place our spiritual self in perpetual motion. It is the continuous freedom – the true flight of the phoenix – born of today, born of yesterday.

Nothing new, nothing gained will ever come from fear of our indefinite human evolution. It is an iniquity of power that divides a nation, and left corruptible – will be the very thing that keeps prejudice and elitism alive – living deep and unsubstantiated in the heart of the denier. Born of yesterday we are, born of today is the face of what we as a nation will ultimately become – as we reside in a falsehood of abstract death.

Born of yesterday is where some existing spirits live in the mind of a dead spirit.

10 Scripture Quotes to Power Your Day in 2017 and Beyond

The Holy Bible and rare scriptural doctrine contains many verses that carry effective forms of inspiration, and when the road we travel seems to wear down our spiritual platform – these words – we turn to in times of duress can set our spirit at continuous peace.

Many well-established preachers, pastors and women of faith often use scripture verses as a stage to support their sermons. Becoming a better Christian person is all about spiritual reinforcement, this is the bedrock of stability in striving to live a healthy Christian life.

Where do we find the power to sustain our spiritual growth when our spiritual well is depleted? There may be no better place to conduct this task - than in the privacy of your home – while resting in meditation, reading and continuously learning to appreciate the Bible and what it provides.

The next passages I have provided are for spiritual support to power your day in 2017 and beyond.

1. Psalms; 6:2 “Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed.”

2. Psalms; 7:1 “O Lord my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:”

3. Psalms; 7:8 “The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.”

4. Proverbs; 1:23 Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.”

5. Proverbs; 25:28 “He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.”

6. Proverbs; 31:10 “Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.”

7. Matthew; 28:19 “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:”

8. Matthew; 28:20 “Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

9. Second – Corinthians; 1:4 “Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.”

10. Revelation; 22:17 “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.”

We become free when we release the burden from our flesh, we are all spiritual creatures, and some will be blinded by the light, and some will see the light. Quote: Alfonso Coley
